Know your biodata. Behave upon it.
Why doing check-ups can lighten your health and longevity journey.
I had the chance in July 2024 to do a 360° check-up at Zoi in Paris to get to know my biomarkers in more depth and start tracking my longevity journey more accurately. The light this shed on my health understanding was profound to me, and I recommend that anyone take this kind of test and act upon their own data to change for the better.
Below are some of my mixed 200+ markers that I'm sharing with you, and areas I will focus on in 2025, now put in perspective.
What blew my mind
Zoi has a DEXA scan that allows measurement of your bone density, fat and overall body composition. What it showed is that I only have 16g of visceral fat, which is extremely low and very rare (top 1%). Intuitively, I know that my 10 years of 21-hour intermitting fasting daily practice has played a significant role in that, along with working out regularly, as autophagy is triggered during both states 🔥
The same goes for my Free Testosterone levels that are surprisingly very good (top 1%). Free Testosterone is the unbound, biologically active form of testosterone that's directly available for your body to use, which I thought would be at a normal level 💪🏼
Despite regularly taking Rosita fish oil for my Omega-3s, I was surprised to find my levels were a bit low. This led me to quickly add 1 Tbsp / 15ml of organic cold-pressed canola oil to my daily Savory Avocado Meal ✅
My Hormone system ranks in the top 1%, which confirms fasting’s importance for longevity. I consider intermitting fasting the most potent, life-saving and free tool for balancing hormones when done correctly. Nature has designed our bodies with remarkable metabolic systems that activate during fasting. I’m happy to maintain this practice 😊
Where and how can I do 360° check-ups?
360° check-ups are invaluable for understanding where you actually stand regarding your health functions, metabolism, inflammation, gut disruption, what vitamins and trace minerals you lack, and how you can fix most of them over time.
Here is a shortlist of places you can go from $500 per year up to luxury treats.
I also highly recommend testing TruDiagnostic that you can do at home by just pricking your finger and sending your blood sample via mail. The process is pretty straightforward, and the depth of biomarkers is compelling enough to act upon it and start changing your daily and, hopefully, long term routines 😉
Happy check-up.
Take care.
